My artistic approach is in constant exploration. Guided by an environmental consciousness, I aim for what is available, for recycling and for found objects even for rubbish. Consequently, the matter with its consistency, its shape, colours and texture is the initial inspiration when creating.

Greatly influenced by the conditions, the possibilities just as much as the restraints of the moment, but also by political, social, environmental and cultural realities, my creativity leads the medium on the support by communicating my interpretations of time, space and modern energies. My ideal concepts are then, consciously or not, expressed through the tangible manipulation of the medium. In short, my approach is a game between the world of ideas, the pragmatic world and the metaphysic energy.

From this idea of destiny with as many possibilities as volition, I let my subconscious speak through the vagary of creation. My approach reveals itself as quite eclectic. Sometime abstract, sometime figurative, however it reunites symbols narrating my path, my story, my experience and my numerous observations.

Ever since my childhood, I've had great admiration for the mystic and emotional images from great artist such as Dali, Picasso and Escher. Since, I've given much importances to certain simple symbols (the bird for freedom, flowers for beauty, etc.) and to the effects of colours, shapes and textures when creating.

I appreciate the idea that the purpose of art is not to recreate reality to perfection but to express it in an emotional and spiritual way. You will then find a pictural and naive poetry to my pieces; the beautiful, constructed, artistic and authentic one. Finally, my approach consists in modeling matter to tell a story, to criticize,  to provoque or to bring awareness. My work will always be a materialistic and existential quest for truth and authenticity.
